Our Iwi Necklace is now available online!
With 3 colours relating to 'Te Ao Māori' and 'Tino Rangatiratanga' these manifest the connection of people - Te Hononga o Ngā Iwi.
The beauty of the marble effect and the binding of the waxed leather string gives our Iwi Necklace a traditional feel, with the connection of the core motif, the koru, relating to how we as Māori unify as one.
Our popular Mangopare design
The Mangopare is a Māori design used in a kowhaiwhai pattern and is one that many artists use. It represents the hammerhead shark depicting its symbolic meaning of strength, courage, determination and power.
We have 3 Mangopare colours which we reference as ....
Black glitter, the wahine that likes to subtly shine but not over power her presents, a sense of deep internal mana,
Rose Gold, the wahine who confidently shines but offers warmth in her presence,
Purple, the wahine who holds her spiritual mana with dignity.
