Ngā manu a Rehua

Rehua, the summer star Antares appears in the summer season. His children, the cicadas are known as 'the birds of Rehua', as they sing in the warm weather.

The orange colour gives the summer warmth with the patterns showing the notes of the songs sung by the cicadas.
